Desert Lakes Golf Course
Desert Lakes is located at the base of the Sacramento Mountain range and offers exciting year-round golfing experiences. The Desert Lakes golf course features four sets of tees to cater to all levels of play. The front nine offers large tree-lined greens to play on, while the back nine is cut out of the southern New Mexico desert. Lincoln National Forest

Oliver Lee State Park
The Oliver Lee State Park is located against the west-facing escarpment of the Sacramento Mountains, offering visitors access to historical exhibits, a fully restored 19th century ranch house, a variety of exotic plants and wildlife, the Springs of Dog Canyon and more! Flowing water and abundant plants and animals in Dog Canyon attracted both prehistoric and historic inhabitants to the area. Trinity Site

The Trinity Site became a world-changing site on July 16, 1945 with the explosion of the first atomic bomb. White Sands National Monument
The White Sands National Monument is one of the world’s natural wonders, the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Toy Train Depot

The Toy Train Depot is fun for kids of all ages! Located in Alameda Park, 1991 N. White Sands Blvd in Alamogordo, the Toy Train Depot is open Wednesday through Sunday 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. Enjoy riding on their 16 Gauge Train Ride every 30 minutes or visit the Model Train Display and Museum.
